Ann Binkley

Ann Binkley,82 of Jonesboro , died Saturday November 4, at her daughter residence. She was born in DeQueen, Arkansas and lived in Jonesboro since 1981, moving here from Downey , California . She was a homemaker and had worked at the Downey Community Hospital as a Nurse’s Aid before moving to Jonesboro . She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a member and the secretary of the Ester Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Broyles and Leila Wilmon Broyles, her brother, Harold Boyles, and one grandson, David Harris. Survivors include her husband, Orville Binkley of the home. Two sons: Michael Hatfield of Ft Smith. Jim Binkley of Jonesboro . One daughter: Cheryl Harris of Jonesboro . Two sisters: Vera Hallamore of Hemet , California . Delores Polm of Eureka , California . Four Grandchildren: Brian and Ronnie Hatfield, Shelley Hamm, and Aaron Binkley. Three Great Grandchildren: Megan and Corey Hamm, and Brilea Hatfield. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 8, in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bruce Tippit officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of the arrangements. Active Pallbearers will be Aaron Binkley, Ray Hamm, Dan Love, Curtis Atkinson, Scotty Copeland, and Jim Binkley. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dr. Donald Guinn. Visitation will be Tuesday November 7, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro. The family request that lasting memorial be made to the American Stroke Association National Center , 7272 Greenville Avenue , Dallas , Texas 75231
