Anita C. Eaves

Anita C. Eaves, 90, of Jonesboro died Friday March 29, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 3, 1925 to Frederico and Anna Panigoni Contini and had lived in Jonesboro since 1962.

She was a homemaker and worked part time raising her children. In 1972 until 1988, she went to work as a registrar/secretary to assistant Superintendent at the Jonesboro Public Schools. She retired at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R Eaves Sr., 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survived by her sons; Clyde Eaves and wife Diane of Caldwell, Kansas and Doug Eves of Yokohama Japan.

Sisters; Rose Sylvestri and Polly Wagner both of Memphis, Tennessee.
3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

There will be no visitation.
