Ani Juan Denton

Ani Juan Denton was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on May 17, 1931 and died on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Jonesboro. Ani Juan was a beloved mother, grandmother, and disciple of Christ. She was an amazing teacher, nurturer and friend. She committed herself completely to her family, her work and, most of all, her relationship with God. She was an amazing blessing to her family and friends and her life remains a guidepost for all who knew and loved her. Although we can mourn in the loss of such a strong, courageous, and godly woman, we can rejoice in knowing she has received her eternal reward. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro where she was a volunteer with the Care Center.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Sam & Lori Denton, Bono, Greg & Starla Denton, Jonesboro; her daughters and sons-in-law, Joanna & David Faerber, Baton Rouge, Janice & Rodney Ivers, Jessieville; a sister, Beth Wallace, Siloam Springs; her grandchildren, Woodson Faerber, Denton Faerber, Forrest Faerber, Joe Denton, Samantha Denton, Pierce Ivers, Franklin Ivers, Jesse Ivers, Allie Denton, Henry Denton, Bo Denton; and a great grandson, Brady Pickett.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Joe Boland Denton; her parents, H.C. Sr. & Roselyn Dickson McArthur; and 5 brothers.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lepanto with Dr. Bruce Tippit, Kathy Holler, and Rev. Jim Duffel officiating. Burial will follow in Potter Cemetery in Lepanto. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers for their grandmother. Honorary pallbearer will be Brady Pickett.

Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at First Baptist Church in Lepanto.
