Angeline Henry

Angeline Henry, 87, Jonesboro passed from this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.  She was born in the West Ridge Community near Lepanto on April 5, 1935 to O.R. and Mima Jackson. Angeline graduated from Monette High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Mearl Henry, on July 1, 1955 and lived in Monette until 1968 when they moved to Jonesboro.

Angeline retired from Colson Caster Corp. after 42 years of service as an Executive Secretary. She loved to shop, travel, read and fill out crossword & code word puzzles. Angeline also enjoyed being with friends from Apple Hill Church of Christ & other church friends in the area Churches of Christ as well as friends from Colson, former school classmates, etc.

Angeline is preceded in death by her husband, Mearl L. Henry; parents, O.R. and Mima Jackson; and brothers, Tim Jackson and Rex Jackson.

Angeline is survived by her daughter, Maleia Allan (Scott); son, Christopher Henry (Rachel); grandson, Rylan Henry; brothers, Larry Jackson (Pattye) and Douglas Jackson; nieces, Mindy Smock (Jeff), Colleen Caughron (Russ), Cathy Miller (Donnie), Terry Fancher (Brian) and Kristy Skinner (Marshall); nephews, David  Jackson (Sherry) Jeff Howell and their families.

The visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at Emerson Funeral Home.

The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Emerson Funeral Home with James King officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Cemetery with Angeline’s nephews acting as pallbearers.
