Andrew Emison Powell

Andrew Emison Powell, 24, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, November 30, 2019.  He was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church.  He enjoyed duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing and any outdoor activities.  He loved spending time with his girls and he had a huge and loving heart for other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Isaiah Mark Powell and his grandfather, Danny Emison.

Survivors include his daughters, Clara Grace Powell and Kameron Faith Powell of Trumann; parents, Scott Powell (Amber); mother, Jill Powell; brothers, Tyler Powell, and Jackson Hogard all of Jonesboro; grandparents, Kay and Gene Barnett, Susan Emison, Jimmy Powell, and Barbara Hitt; uncles, Mike Emison, Brian Emison, Chad Powell, niece, Emmy Powell, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, December 6, 2019, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Harold Russell officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Brian Emison, Terry Lawrence, Tyler Powell, Jackson Hogard, Ryan Powell, and Steve Groves serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are the Valley View Class of 2013.  Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time.
