Andrew Charles Payno, 53, of Jonesboro died Wednesday January 23, at his home. He was born in Frairs Point, Mississippi and had lived in Jonesboro most of his life. He was a carpenter and of the Baptist belief. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Stepfather, Sammie Davis Sr. and Cliftee Davis Burgess, 2 brothers, Ivory Joe Davis and Willie B. Davis.

Survived by his daughters, Tichina Payno Hayes, Brittany Austin and Demetria Goodwin all of Memphis, Tennessee.

Brothers, John Payno, Walter Davis and Robert Lynn Davis all of Jonesboro. Harry Davis of Wynne, Tommie Richard Davis of Marianna, Rev. Sammie Davis Jr. of Ferriday, Louisiana, Larry Darnell Davis of Midland, Alabama and Gregory Filory Davis of Grady, Arkansas.

Sisters, Dorothy King and husband Savoil of Jonesboro and Selena Davis Love of Memphis, Tennessee.
Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 29, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Revs. Sammie Davis Jr. and Ray Scales officiating.

There will be no visitation and burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
