Reverend Amanda DeAnn Riley, 52, of Lake City passed on from this life Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was born January 31, 1964 in Jonesboro to Richard and Minnie Peaster. Amanda resided in Lake City for over 30 years after coming from Jonesboro. Amanda was a Founder of the Southern Delta Church of Wicca-ATC.
Amanda had a significant role in the church which included: teaching, counseling, and also heading up the Women’s Mysteries. She was the head Crone and was the High Priestess. Amanda was ordained in 1993 by the Aquarian Tabernacle Church.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father, two sisters, one brother, and a granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband: Terry Riley of the home; her mother: Minnie Peaster; one son: Zachariah(Shilah) Riley; one stepson: Mark Riley; one daughter: Amberly (Gary) Jones; and one step daughter: Ashley Riley; and three grandchildren: Audreyanna Riley, Lilith Riley, and Damion Riley.
A memorial service will be held at 5 pm Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Apple Oak Grove in Sharon, Tennessee with Reverend Terry Riley officiating.
