Alyce Marcom

Alyce Marcom, 88, of North Little Rock, died Sunday, August 22, 2010, at Lakewood Nursing Home. She moved from Jonesboro to North Little Rock eight years ago and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Alyce was a former Worthy Matron of the Olive Chapter, Order of Eastern Star in Jonesboro and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robert Marcom, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Paula Eckrich and husband Paul, St. Louis, Missouri; Patricia Mabry, Sherwood, Arkansas; brother, Dr. Frank Stroope, Little Rock; one sister Theda Miller, Henderson, Kentucky five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Matthew Fries officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no public visitation.
