Alma Mcdaniel

Alma McDaniel, 85, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Craighead County Nursing Center. She was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Harold “Pete” McDaniel; parents, J. W. and Edna Mae Berry; brother, Jesse Berry and grandchild, Cheryl McDaniel.

Survivors include sons, James Ellis McDaniel of Loveland, Colorado; Darrel Gene McDaniel; Rickey Harold McDaniel; Robbie Len McDaniel, all of Jonesboro; Sisters, Donnis Kirksey of Michigan and Madeline Berry of Jonesboro; brother, Paul Berry of Jonesboro; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 19, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Wynndel King officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow at McDaniel Cemetery with Kyle McDaniel, David McDaniel, Jon McDaniel, Douglas McDaniel, Steven Moore and Eric Broyles serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday night from 5-7 at Emersons.
