Alma Louise Miller

Alma Louise Miller, 80, of Jonesboro, formerly of Marked Tree, died Monday,
August 9, 2010, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Bay, Louise lived most of her life in Marked Tree before moving to Jonesboro earlier this year. She was a 1948 graduate of Bay High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Sneed Street Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and cooking.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bert Oliver Miller; her father, Dee Wilton Wyatt; her mother, Inez Wyatt Jones; and her son-in-law: Larry M. Taylor.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Taylor of Jonesboro;

1 grandson and his wife, Seth and Amy Elder of Jonesboro; and

1 great granddaughter, Ava Katherine Elder.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Marked Tree Cemetery with Rev. Patrick Tucker officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:30 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers include: David Hazel, Seth Elder, Louis Phillips and Jay Phillips.
