Alma M. Clark

Alma M. Clark, 83 of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, May 29, 2022 at St. Bernards Hospital.  She was born December 4, 1938 to Herbert and Mary Layne Haymore in Sanford, North Carolina.  Alma has lived in Jonesboro since 1978 after her husband retired from the military.  She is of the Methodist faith.  Alma enjoyed reading, gardening, camping, her family, especially her grandchildren.  Alma is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Clark, 2 sons, Keith and Darrell Clark.

Survivors include son, Greg (Nathalie) Clark of Charlotte, N. Carolina; daughter, Mary Ann Clark of Paragould; brother, Billy Haymore of Mountain City, Tennessee; sister, Betty Lee Salmon of Tallahassee, Florida.  3 grandchildren; Joey Clark, Heather Clark and Chloe Clark.

Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Emerson Memorial Chapel will be a visitation from 6-7PM followed by a service starting at 7 PM with Kenny Johnson          officiating.

Burial will be private.
