Allen Roy Wiliams

Allen Roy Williams, 84, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Place. Allen was born April 20, 1937 to the late John and Bonnie Louise Williams. In addition to his parents, Allen is preceded in death by his first wife, Doris “Dottie” Williams; and brothers, Jimmy Williams and John Williams II.

Allen lived in Jonesboro for twenty years, coming here from Mississippi. Prior to living in Jonesboro, he served twenty-three combined years with the military. Two years in the army, followed by twenty-one years in the Air Force. Allen loved flying planes. He used his skills in aviation to become a private pilot. Most importantly, Allen loved spending time with his family.

Allen is survived by his wife, Hazel Williams, of the home; son, Allen Williams Jr (Deborah), of Abilene, TX; brother, Louis “Bud” Williams (Margie), of Yazoo City, MS; sister, Helen Alexander, of Bentonia, MS; grandchildren, Nathan Williams, Joshua Williams (Ila), and Dottie Hahn (Jarod); and great-grandchildren, Sergio Ruiz, Myson Williams, Kaisley Williams, and Colton Hahn.

Burial will be private.
