Allen Shoemaker

Allen D. Shoemaker, 83, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday November 30, 2017 in Jonesboro. He was born in Archibald, Louisiana on July 23, 1934 to the late Billbo and Myrtis Smith Shoemaker. Allen had lived in Jonesboro for 20 years, moving here from Rogers, Arkansas and was a maintance supervisor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Patsy Shoemaker and 2 brothers.
Survived by his sons; Lynn Brigance of Millington, Tenn and Donnie Brigance of Texarkana, Arkansas.
Brothers; Wendell Shoemaker, Russell Shoemaker, Earl Shoemaker and Jimmy Shoemaker all of Rayville, Louisiana.
Sister; Mickey Fisher of Collierville, Tenn

4 grandchildren; Jennifer Porter, Mandy West, Stacy Phillips and Timothy Brigance.
Also a special friend; Kent Arnold of Jonesboro.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m on Sunday December 3, 2017 at the Wesley On The Ridge with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

There will be no visitation.
