Allean Thompson

Allean Thompson, 80, of Paragould, died Saturday evening at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Craighead County, she had lived in Paragould since 1967. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paragould, loved to garden, and was a member of the Women’s Democratic League.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Mack & Ella Van Thompson, Ash Flat, Richard “Dick” Thompson, Paragould; sister, Edith Evans, Paragould; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other family members, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Thompson; a brother, Walter Lively; a sister, Ida Lively.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Finch Cemetery with Craig Miller officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Speer, John Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Bruce Evans, Carroll Worley, and Alan Jenkins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Finch Baptist Church.
