Alice B. Monteniszs

Alice B. Monteniszs, 53, of Bono, died Sunday evening at St. Bernards Medical Center. She had lived most of her life in the Jonesboro/Bono area. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Old Enterprise General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Venzenty “Shorty” Monteniszs of the home; her sons, Ricky Monteniszs, Danny Monteniszs, both of Jonesboro; her daughter, Tammy Monteniszs, Bono; her sisters, Brenda Price, Jonesboro, Barbara Davis, Houston, TX, Nancy Simmons, Batesville, Doris Thatcher, Lake Jackson, TX; and one grandson, Brett Austin Monteniszs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bee & Maggie Dennis Price; and by one brother, Jim Eakes.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Cemetery with Butch Parks officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Shorty Monteniszs, Ricky Monteniszs, Danny Monteniszs, D.J. Reece, Roger Nelson, Rick Nelson, and Brett Austin Monteniszs.

There will be no visitation.
