Alfred Lewis

Alfred Lewis, 89, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at his home. He had lived in Craighead County most of his life and was of the Church of Christ belief. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Leeverty Lewis of the home; son, Perry Lewis (Debra) of Jonesboro; Ronnie Green and Kevin Green of Memphis; daughters, Connie Ford (Terry) Tina Burrow and Donna Houston all of Jonesboro; brother, Harold Lewis of Paragould; sister, Marion Wilson of Michigan; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers and grandchildren serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-7 Friday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
