Alfred Aaron Hicks

Alfred Aaron Hicks, 85, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lexington Place Healthcare. He was born August 19, 1933 in Bolivar, Tennessee to the late W.B. and Flossy Hicks. Alfred was of the Church of Christ belief. He worked for the city of Jonesboro for several years. He enjoyed playing the guitar and he was a mechanic most of his life working on cars and tractors.

In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by his son, Al Tracy Hicks; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Marie Hicks of the home: sons, Gary (Sarah) Hicks, Terry Allen (Kelli) Hicks; 4 grandchildren: Jennifer Hicks, Ronnie Hicks, Cody Hicks, Gage Hicks and 3 great grandchildren, Aaron Hicks, James Hicks and Angelina Hicks all of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be Monday April 29, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
