Alexander "Al" Craig Jr.

Alexander “Al” Craig Jr., 85, of Jonesboro died Friday, August 2, 2013 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

Alexander Jr., was born May 30, 1928 to the late Alexander Sr. and Grace Craig in Harrisburg. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1969 moving from Warrenville, IL, and was the former owner of Tri-County Drywall. He was a loving husband and father, and he loved to volunteer his time to anyone in need. He was a born again Christian, and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three children, Joy Cruciani, William Craig, and Kimberly Craig; two brothers, Elgin and Roy Craig; and two sisters, Pearl Johnson Casey and Verna may Henry.

Mr. Craig is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine Craig of Jonesboro; one granddaughter, Lisa Crivella of Avon, CT; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mike Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to7pm at Emerson Funeral Home
