Alene Neal

October 4, 1947 — August 28, 2020

Alene Neal, 72, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Heritage Square Nursing Home in Blytheville. She was born October 4, 1947 to the late Elic Goad and Rosie Adams. Along with her parents, Alene is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Neal Sr; her brother, Earl Goad, and two other siblings; and a grandchild, Ambrial Neal.

Alene was a homemaker and loved babysitting children. Though she was a homemaker, she did enjoy calling members of her community to take family pictures at the local fire department. You could always find her camping and shopping for jewelry. Alene loved her dogs and absolutely loved playing bingo. Above all else, Alene loved her family.

Alene is survived by her sons, Dale Neal Jr (Ronda) of Steele, MO and Jessi Neal of Brookland; her daughter, Sherry Hawkins (Shannon Sr) of Wilson, AR; six grandchildren, Shannon Jr, Paige, Carlton, Traelyn, Ashton, and Preston; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Allen.

A visitation will be September 1, 2020 from 1pm to 2pm at Emerson Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park cemetery.

Due to COVID 19 guidelines, a facemask must be worn while in the chapel. Social distancing is strongly recommended at the graveside.
