Alene L. Mullins

Alene L. Mullins, 71, of Jonesboro passed from this life Monday, November 14, 2016 at St. Bernard’s medical center. She was born in Jonesboro on June 9, 1945 to the late Leland Wright and Sue Duke Delk. Alene grew up in Waldenburg and Otwell, while also spending time in Arizona, then she lived most of her life in Jonesboro and was of the Christian belief. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed being a prankster.

In addition to her parents, Alene is preceded in death by her husband Joe Mullins and a sister, Ann Marie Smith.

Alene is survived by four sons: John Mullins of Michigan, Steve Mullins of California, Allen Mullins of Arkansas, and Joey Mullins of Arkansas; two daughters: Jolene (Landon) Billingsley of Marianna, Arkansas and Mary Ann Smith of Arkansas; one sister: Ann Marie Smith; nine grandchildren and a niece: Judy Smith Gottfried.

A visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Carl Weatherford officiating. Burial will be private.
