Alda Eueline Freeman, 76, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born at Eaton in Lawrence County, Mrs. Freeman lived several years in Joliet, Illinois, before moving to Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Albe Cook and Lloyd Clark; by a son: Michael Clark; and by a sister: Genelda Hilburn.
Survivors include: Her husband: Albert Freeman of the home;
2 Sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy and Janet Cook of Harrison, and Patrick and Geri Anne Freeman of Ranch Margarita, California;
2 Daughters and son-in-law: Teresa Smith of Joliet, and Patti and Maurice Burk of Kansas City, Missouri;
3 Brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles and Jean Hilburn of Greenbrier, John and Bonnie Hilburn of Harrison, and Dale and Jan Hilburn of Phoenix, Arizona;
1 Sister and brother-in-law: Lou Ann and Bob Shaw of Jonesboro;
2 Grandchildren who were raised by Mrs. Freeman: Tami Carter and Michael Clark; and 14 additional grandchildren; and
3 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
