Albert R. Reed, Jr.

June 30, 1938 — September 12, 2015

Albert R. Reed, Jr., 77, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015, at his residence.

Born in Flint, Michigan, Albert was a retired maintenance supervisor for Post Cereal where he worked over 40 years. He transferred from Battle Creek to Jonesboro in 1991 to set up the plant when Kraft Foods established the Jonesboro facility.

While living in Michigan, Albert enjoyed salmon fishing. He also enjoyed golfing and working in his yard. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert R. Reed, Sr.

Survivors include Linda Griffin of Jonesboro and her 3 children: Alan (Michelle) Griffin of Mountain Home, Jon (Erin) Griffin of Little Rock and Mike (Melisa) Griffin of Lebanon, Tennessee;

2 daughters, Cheryl Campbell (Rob) of Dowling, Michigan, and Caren Ray (Larry) of Ceresco, Michigan;

his mother, Dorothy Markham Reed of Marshall, Michigan;

2 sisters, Margaret Laupp (Jack) of Marshall, Michigan, and Luella Buckner of Standwood, Michigan;

3 grandchildren: Corrie Halder, Daren (Ashlynn) Ray, and Lauren Ray; and
2 step grandchildren: Ryan Ray and Zachary Campbell, all of Michigan;
1 great grandchild, Emma Ray; and 3 step great grandchildren.

The family has a time of remembrance for Tuesday, September 15, 2015, from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Albert's home. All friends and family are welcome.
