Albert Lee Nance Sr.

Albert Lee Nance Sr. 62, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born to the late Charles Edward and Betty Nance on May 1, 1959 here in Jonesboro. Albert lived the majority of his life residing in Jonesboro. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Albert worked in the roofing and carpentry business all of his adult life. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Albert is preceded in death by his brother, Troy Lee Nance.

Albert is survived by his son, Albert (Lacey) Nance Jr. of Valles Mines, MO; step-son, Carl Brown of St. Louis; step-daughter, Lisa Brown of Jonesboro; brothers, Charles (Sharon) Nance Jr. of Jonesboro, Carl Dean Nance of Buffalo, NY, Gary Nance of Canton, TX, and Tommy (Karen) Nance of Canton, TX; sisters, Betty (Donnie) Dotter of Jonesboro, Brenda Ezzell of Lees Summitt, MO; and Norma (Steve) Jones of Lancaster, TX; five grandchildren, Charles Nance, Richie Nance, Kurtis Brown, Zander Figueroa, and Jerri Denton; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Don Martin officiating.
