Albert "Lee" Mcginnis

Albert “Lee” McGinnis, 53, of Paragould passed from this life on Friday, September 29, 2023. He was born to the late Charles and Helen McGinnis on July 6, 1970 in Jonesboro. Lee was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, riding 4-wheelers, and grilling. He also loved to watch Westerns and anything on Discovery Channel that had to do with cars. You could often find him sharpening knives, it was his way of meditating. In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his brother, Charles McGinnis; and sisters, Donna McGinnis and Debbie Langston.

Lee is survived by his sons, Dustin Williamson of Bono, Cody Williamson (Amber) of Lynn, and Albert “Lee” McGinnis II of Bono; daughter, Katelyn Hayes (Austin) of Paragould; sisters, Maxine McGinnis of Paragould, Jamie Barrett (Larry), and Diane Perkins (Scott) of Kansas; nephew, Scott Craig of Paragould; nieces, Kayla Bates (John) of Little Rock and Kelly Barrett (Joe) of Caraway. Lee also leaves behind his dog, Rusty.

The visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on October 5, 2023 at Emerson Funeral Home with Derrick Followell officiating. Burial will be private.
