Albert F. Hooker

Albert F. Hooker, 89, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area and was a born again Christian. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Annie Hooker; son, Eddie Franklin Hooker; two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mildred Hooker, of the home; daughters, Joyce Neyman, Jonesboro; Barbara House, Yukon, Oklahoma; Patsy Long, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mary Corrigan, Pontiac, Illinois; brothers, Virgil Hooker, West Plains, Missouri; Lester Hooker, Harrisburg, Arkansas; sister, Geniva West, Jonesboro; grandchildren, Robbie Wess, Jeff Corrigan, Jim Stilwell, Matthew Neyman, Robin Poston, Medina Mushinski, and Kelli Tomic; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, October 23, 2009 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Mike Martin officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-7 Thursday night at Emersons.
