Albert Bruce Richardson, 59, a resident of North Little Rock, died August 1, 2012 at his home.
Bruce was born October 1, 1952, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Albert and Norrean Ensley Richardson. After the death of Norrean, he was reared, along with his three brothers, by his father and his second wife, the late Ruby Goatcher Richardson.
Bruce received a degree in Computer Science from Southern Arkansas University. He joined the U.S. Navy and served four years at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
Bruce worked as a computer systems analyst for the State of Arkansas for several years. He was currently employed with Arkansas BlueCross and BlueShield as a computer systems analyst. Bruce loved to read adventure books and work various cross-word puzzles. One of Bruce's major hobbies was motorcycling. He enjoyed lengthy road tours out West.
Bruce was a member of the local Patriot Guard Riders who honor fallen US military personnel. He attended a local Baptist church.
Bruce was preceded in death by his birth mother (Norrean), a brother who died at birth, Dwight Eugene, and his stepmother (Ruby).
Bruce is survived by his son, Jonathan (Kellie) of Sacramento, California; four grandchildren; his father, Albert Richardson of Jonesboro; three brothers, Dwayne of Jonesboro; Thomas (Tina) of Modesto, California; and James (Tricia) of Tupelo, Mississippi.
A memorial service will be 10:00 Monday, August, 6, 2012 at Nettleton Baptist Church. Burial will be private.
