Albert H. Allen

Albert H. Allen, 81, of Jonesboro passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

Albert was born in Wynne on March 21, 1934 to the late Albert S. and Mary Lois Patrick Allen. He lived in the Helena and Heber Springs area before moving to Jonesboro 12 years ago, and he was a member of the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. He worked as an insurance salesman for several years before going to work for Cleburne County Road Department. He worked 12 years as the Buyer for the Road Department. His sweet soul and always smiling face will be missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Jim Allen; and two sisters, Edna Hall and Katherine Miller.

He is survived by his loving wife, Zepha Allen of Jonesboro; one son, Al Allen and his wife Jennie; one granddaughter, Barrett Allen all of Pomona, CA; one sister, Callie White of West Helena; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Nettleton Cemetery with Bro. Jim Sweeney officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday at Bethany Baptist Church.
