Alan Liffengren

Alan Liffengren, 80, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed from this life on December 12, 2015 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. Alan was born on October 29, 1935 in Murdo, South Dakota to the late Donald and Luceal Liffengren. He graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Engineering and began a career with Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Illinois. Alan worked for Caterpillar for 40 years before retiring to Surprise, Arizona. He enjoyed golf, wood working, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Alan is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Karen Liffengren of the home; daughter, Lori Liffengren Lee (Mark); sons, David Tingwall, Dan Tingwall, and Randall Tingwall (Dana); brother, Jerome Liffengren (Sandy); grandchildren, Anna Lee, Katie Lee, and Brayden Tingwall. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and there will be no visitation.
