Addy Gibson, 13, of Jonesboro died Friday, April 3, 2020, at Mountain Home. She had lived her entire life in Jonesboro. Addy was a member of Central Baptist Church and loved helping with AWANAS. As an 8 th grade student at Valley View, she was on the honor roll. She was active in the East Lab and helping special needs students. She loved spending time with her family, hanging out with her friends, and going to the lake. Her friends state she had a captivating smile and whenever she entered a room, it just seemed to brighten up. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Willidene Gibson; and her aunt, Susie Coleman.
Survivors include her mother and step father, Chastity Kelley (Kenny) of the home; father, Tim Gibson of Jonesboro; brothers, Kaben Gibson of Jonesboro; Brayson Gibson of the home; Christian Kelly of West Memphis; and Jase Kelley of the home; sisters, Sophie Kelley of the home; Great Grandmother, Kathleen Palmer of Jonesboro; grandparents, Tammy and Rick Gibson; Paula Burleson; Aunts, Candice James (Evan); Donna Bowers; Ashley Bass (Brandon); uncle, Johnny Coleman; cousins, Gracey James, Ella James and a host of other cousins.
Graveside services will be 10:00 Wednesday morning at Pine Log Cemetery with Don Blackmore officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Social distancing practices will be observed at the graveside service. Pallbearers are Taylor Brown, Clay Hubbard, Collin Whitlatch, Garrett Turner, Ethan White, Kameron Irvin and Justin Housley. Honorary pallbearers are the Valley View Class of 2024. All other services are private.
