Adan Nathaniel Ramirez, 15, passed from this life on February 4, 2024. Adan was born in Jonesboro on May 14, 2008, to Guadalupe and Maria Ramirez. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Alberta Trejo.
Adan grew up in Northeast Arkansas and was a tenth grader at Brookland High School. He and his family were members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Adan was a jokester and loved being funny. He never met a stranger and got along with everyone. He was very observant and smart; he had dreams of one day being his big brother’s boss. Adan enjoyed soccer, dancing, and riding horses. He always listened to his portable speaker, even if it meant draining the battery. He was a fashionable kid and loved wearing cowboy hats, boots, and belts. Most importantly, Adan loved being with his family.
Adan is survived by his mother and father, Guadalupe and Maria Ramirez; brother, Jesus Ramirez; sisters, Maddyson and Katherine Ramirez; grandparents, Gabino Ramirez and Rosa & Ramon Ramirez; aunts and uncles, Manuela Ramirez, Chris Ramirez, and Adalyn & Jose Ramirez; cousin, Carlos Ramirez; close friend, Brian Paz; and a host of other friends, family, and loved ones.
A vigil and visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. on February 7, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro. A funeral service will follow the next day, at 10:00 a.m. on February 8, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
