Abel Flores Arias

Abel Flores Arias, 63, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Wednesday evening at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Mr. Arias moved to Jonesboro in 1975. He was retired from Delta Consolidated Manufacturing in Jonesboro and was of the Catholic belief. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

Survivors include:

His Wife: Tammy Layne Arias of the home;

2 beloved dogs, “Chico” and “Chocolate”; and

Several nephews and nieces.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 in Philadelphia Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers include: Ronnie Layne, Shane Minton, Tracy Haney, Jerry Honey,
Layne Minton and Troy Thompson.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the Diabetes Foundation or the Heart Association.
