Chester Ray Stitts, 55, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis. He had lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area. He enjoyed his time at Lake Norfork, playing in the water, riding his 4-wheeler and hanging out with friends and family. His music was very important and he like it very loud. When he started playing his music so loud, they called it the Royal Rumble. The Dallas Cowboys was a team he loved to watch with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Heziekiah and Vergie May Stitts; sisters, Vergie Thomas and Carolyn Stitts; brothers, Heziekiah Stitts and Robert Thomas.
Survivors include his sons, Keevan Stitts and Dakoda Stitts of Conway; brothers, Johnny Stitts, Otis Thomas, Roosevelt Thomas, and Willie Thomas; sisters, Brenda Thomas and Mary Thomas, all of Jonesboro.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Emerson Memorial Chapel. All friends and family are urged to attend. All other services will be private.
