Charles Edward Moore Jr.
Charlie died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Trumann, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was born November 16,1950, in Camden, NJ to the late Charles and Elizabeth Moore (nee Basilio). Raised in Runnemede, NJ Charlie graduated from Triton Regional High School in 1968 and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Everyone who knew Charlie knew his love for Ventnor Beach and music, especially his vinyl record collection. The boys always knew he would be quizzing them on their music knowledge. Breakfast with The Beatles on Sunday mornings will forever be a family staple. Charlie was also an avid sports fan, he especially loved the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He was truly an inspiration to others doing what he loved as a Life Coach.
Charlie is survived by his sons Chuck (Jennifer) of Eastampton, NJ and Kevin (Lauren) of Gloucester City, NJ; grandchildren Hailey, Erica, Evan, Owen, Ava, Alyssa and Ryan; sister Mary Parnham (George) of Houston, TX; nephews Matthew, Marshall, Jonathan and Myles; step mother Marilyn Moore; darling life partner Karen Abernathy of Trumann, AR; many loving cousins, friends, family and his Neothink family.
Charlie is also predeceased by his sister Elizabeth “Betty” Makaila; brother Stephen Moore and his brother in law Thomas Makaila.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street Mount Holly, NJ 08060. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 12:00pm-1:00pm prior to the funeral services. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider helping us honor his love for the beach by purchasing a suitable aspect of the Ventnor Memory Park to be named after him.
