David G. Williams, 59, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at his lake house at Greers Ferry.
Born in Newport, David was a 1970 graduate of Grubbs High School. He lived in Grubbs before moving to Jonesboro in 1998. He was a farmer for 30 years before entering the real estate profession where he has worked for 16 years. He was an Executive Broker for RE/MAX Real Estate Centre in Jonesboro and was a member of the Jonesboro Board of Realtors, the Arkansas Realtors Association, and the National Association of Realtors.
David enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, duck hunting, traveling, boating, and all water sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson A. and Beulah Cannon Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Crews Williams of the home;
2 sons and daughter-in-law: Joe David and Jayne Williams of Rogers, and Andrew Kelso of Kansas;
2 daughters and son-in-law: Scarlett and Joe Daniels of Rogers, and Kara Kelso of the home;
2 brothers, Eddie Drope of Russellville and Johnnie Drope of Tennessee;
2 sisters: LaDonna Weems of Russellville and Carla Saunders of Little Rock;
4 grandchildren, Zayda Williams, Quinn Williams, Greyson Daniels and Channing Daniels, all of Rogers; In- Laws Bennie and Margaret Crews of Jonesboro.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.
Honorary pallbearers include the Jonesboro Board of Realtors.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
